hey richard the bike looks great. you should look at the rinehart true duals before settling with the first ones you see. the black tips look sweet on there.
This is funny, My buddy was down from South Carolina this weekend. He has a 03 Heritage Anniversary Edition. He was experiencing some sort of clutch problem while he was here and we reset his clutch. So he wanted me to ride it and feel for anything out of the ordinary, and I let him ride my 06 EGC. We took a short 3 mile trip down to the local Walmart parking lot ( 11 pm ) to stop and talk about the issue and turn around. I stopped and he just kept riding circles around me. I laughed at him and got off his bike we he stopped then he looked at me all big eyed and smiles from ear to ear and said " I like this bike, it rides great !" He just called me and said that he just rode off on a new EGC. He said he was keeping the Heritage but it wouldn't get ridden much anymore until he gets the engine work done that he wants to do. Chalk up one for the Geezer Glides !
There was just something missing, the standard didn't have all the detail I remembered
on all my dad's motorcycles... When did HD go to Decal tank badges? no electra glide
script on the fender? I remember a Harley Davidson being the best. And the Ultra is todays Proof
of that. and the badge on the tourpack proves that.... USA
Taking nothing away from all other models, I just think DETAIL is the halmark of quality, chrome is the icing on the cake.
