Default HD siren help

this is on a 2010 limited
I get one chrip when security arms and one chrip when security disarms.
In the owners manual it reads, two chirps when arms, and one chrip on disarm. Also, the siren does not sound off when bike is stood upright, system armed, and fob away from bike. Is there a silent mode for the alarm? All I can find is a silent arm/disarm mode.
The siren came off my 05 bike, and has been sitting in a closet for a year.

It worked that way on my heritage also. For some reason it not working right. One chirp armed and one chirp disarmed, and no sound when I stand the bike upright.
I am not sure if it's something in the settings, or if this siren has a problem. It has not been on a bike in a year or more.

If you havn't already you might want to check to make sure the alarm is not in trasnport mode.

when I had an alarm and stood my bike up I kinda remember that the siren did not go off until it was moved....( I could be wrong).....

but it did chirp twice when disarmed and once for armed

I just replaced the internal battery this week. It was making 3 chirps when arming to let me know that the battery was dead. Now that it's changed, it's back to 2.
