Starting while hot

If I ride then shut down to run inside somewhere real quick, my bike takes a second or two to turn over. This never happens from a cold start. Any idea what this could indicate?

Do you mean it won't fire-up, or is it like a starter issue?

We need more info, is bike EFI could be pressure in the injector leaking fule into one of the cylinders.

Yes, EFI. It won't turn all the way over always. Sometimes I'll bump the throttle, then it will fire up.

Mine will sometimes act like that but I have noticed if I wait until the check engine light goes out and then hit the starter it fires right up.
