Default LOUD shift
Maybe nothing...thought I would ask. When shifting it seems loud (not clunky, not a gear issue, no grinding) Just LOUD. Dealer says normal...Is it? I have had six different bikes over the years, non have souded like this. The sound dosen't bother me, I just want to be sure that it is supposed to sound this way.

Mine is pretty loud too. I got used to it and kinda like it. Same response from the dealer.
Different oil may quiet the beast.

Congrats on the bike!

Mine is loud to. Quiet when cold then gets louder when it gets hot. 15th bike and never had one this loud. Maybe different lube in the future. Its an 06 and I have not had a chance to try other lubes yet. Dealer maintained. I guess I have dino lube in it. Maybe synthetic next.

I changed to the HD syn3 also. May try something different next time. Thanks for the responses, helps ease the mind a little.
