Default Head bridge

Anyone installed the head bridge that covers the head bolts and makes the head look finned to the rocker boxes. If so how did they attach and what did you think of them.

I installed a set on my '07 Heritage and had no trouble. A round cover with an extension on top goes over the head bolts. This extension is drilled and tapped. When the bridge is put in place there are 2 screws that attach the bridge to the covers. I don't think it took me longer than 30 minutes to do and they looked great.

They give a cleaner look if thats what your after. They attatch with set scews. Underneath they have 2 cup like places that set on the head bolts and 2 set screws between the fins. A snap to put on or take off. Have a set of the finned bridges on my 01 EGClassic and a set of the Kuryakyn chrome on my 09 EGUltra. Some types don't allow spark plug removal without removing them and some do. Personal preference I guess.

Link to installation instructions for the Kuryakyn Scorpions I have on my 09 Different look than the finned bridge but installation is the same

I put them on mine. Ill be more sensitive when describing the installation.

Its so easy even a caveman could do it.

(Ill wait to see how many cavemen get offended with this....)

I've put them on my last 3 harleys and they are easy to install and I like the look. The HD ones do allow spark plugs to be removed without removing the bridge
