Default shipping shocks

I may be trading my RK shocks with a member on here for some SG shocks. I imagine we will be leaving the air fittings in place on the shocks. Is there a way to keep the oil from leaking out during shipping?

Remove the air fittings and replace with threaded plugs.Oil will leak out if not plugged.

Just sold mine to a guy in Loxley, AL and wrapped the fittings in elec tape then wrapped the shocks in plastic . I won't know if that worked till Wed when he gets delivery of them. I think it will be ok.
