I sent off my Sundowner Deep Bucket to Mean City Cycles about 8-10 months ago and I have been happy with it until here recently. I have put about 15,000mi on it so far and when I climb on to ride I get about 50mi before I get so uncomfortable that I just want to get off. It feels like I have been riding for about 8hrs. I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with thier redone seat by MCC? I must add again,I really like the work they did on it,till now. It feels like the foam may have broke down.

I am curious if you have contacted meancitycycles about the problem. From what I have seen Allen will go above and beyond to make a customer happy. Just wondering.

I did send Allen an email, but it was tonite so I am waiting to see what happens myself. I do know that the customer service at MCC is top notch, and I am sure they will come up with something.I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem?

Well I am happy to report that I got an email back from Allen this morning and he says to send the seat back. He is going to replace the foam in the riders portion of the seat. He thinks something is wrong with the foam because he has guys with 80,000mi on thier seats and no problems. +1 on thier customer service.

So is anyone out there using the Mustang Vintage Solo Seat with Backrest? How do you like it? Did it raise/lower you? Move you back/forward? Any info would be really helpful.

My Mustang solo pushed me up at least half an inch and it pushed me forward an inch. Great seat and very confortable, but it will push you up and forward.

I'll be sending my seat in to MCC this December to lower it.

I don't mind either of those directions,as long as it don't move me back any.
