Just wondering about the possibility of changing the front fairing on a 2001 Road Glide to more of the look of a road king. I have the oppurtunity to pick the road glide with a wrecked front fairing very innexpensive and have a road king front end already. Any help with this issue would be great because this would be my first harley.

 

Theoretically they have the same Frame, so you could do it. I think the primary concern would be the gauges. Your Road glide has the Gauges on the dash and the speedo/tach on the bars, whereas the Road King has the speedo in the tank. I guess if you don't mind losing the other gauges and keeping the speedo/tach on the bars, you could do it.
