Default running hot?

My 08 ultra seems to run a hot. There is bluing on the pipes down near where it passes the floorboard and it appeared within the first few weeks of running.
What do I check to see if it is "normal"
I'm running Syn 3 now. Overall It ran its coolest with Amsoil.

My 08UC did the same thing. Was told it was Normal. Guess it is, after 22K and no major problems except for the fuel filter shell breaking in the middle of nowhere.

My '08 has very little blue near the cylinders and just a bit of light gold beyond that. But I did add the TTS before I put on many miles.

Maybe the fuel management system prevented the pipes from discoloring more then they already have.

If you want it to run cooler, (and I would) you will have to do one of the tuner options, SERT, TTS, Fuelmoto etc. I have an 08 and did the SERT which means expensive dyno time. If I was doing it again I would call Jamie at Fuelmoto (one of this site's sponsors.)
