Default '07 RK dying at idle

'07 RK, stage I with Rinehart S/O's, BS, and SERT, 17k miles. It's been dyno tuned twice, once when the original stage I was done and then recently when I was trying to fix this problem.
The engine light is not coming on so the dealer says there are no codes to read.
It ONLY happens after I've been on a trip for 1.5 hours. Then it may start by idleing high for a bit then say when I come to a redlight and have to pull in the clutch and apply both brakes it will go down to zero idle. Once I crank it back up it idles so low that I have to rev it to keep it running.
Stopped on the road the first time it happened and the service manager at a HD dealer said I was running too lean at idle so I had it retuned and richened up.
If and when I park the bike for an hour or so it will go back to running right.
Does anyone have any insight to this problem?
Thanks

My '07 Low Rider had similar problems at about the 20k mile mark. Replacing the intake manifold seal corrected the problem.

My 07 SG does the same thing. Seems like it does it whenever it wants, no consistency. Some days it wont do it at all. Heard it could be when there low on gas but thats not true either, does it full as well.

I've checked for leaks using brake cleaner and did not notice a difference in RPMs. How did you know your's was bad?

Also sounds like an ongoing problem.

One inexpensive, easy thing to replace that could be causing this problem is your engine temp sensor, located just behind the horn. Only $37 and a quick change. Might be worth changing your fuel filter also.

Default Dying

There is a dealer Tech Tip (August, #TT410) regarding this issue. The problems involve the TPS setting, Idle stop screw adjustment, IAC step counts and ECM reflash for updated IAC control. Contact your dealer.

Where does one find these "tech tips"?

I took it to the dealership when it started stalling on me when idling. At the time, I did not have the foggiest idea what was causing the problem. I got the impression from the service technicians that they had seen this occur before with the intake manifold seal.
