planning a trip on the BRP were starting on the southern end and traveling north. Problem is mile markers are all geared north to south. Having a heard time setting anything up, not knowing where is what. Anybody found any list with mile markers from south to north/.

Get updates on road closures before you leave.

Try this one

http://www.blueridgeparkway.org/

About half way down... look for "directory and travel planner" and "Map"

You can order a hard copy of each.... I pick up a copy each year when I go there, but it's a short (150 miles) ride from home.

All of the mile markers are posted north to south.. so no matter your direction mile post 268 is going to be Benge Gap.

As noted above, check with the park service regarding closures, but don't worry, the detours can sometimes be pretty good as well

Perhaps the best travelguide out there is "Best of the Blue Ridge Parkway" by Nye Simmons. Great photography and description of each section of the Parkway.
