There may be by now, but I rode for years with one , and it was always on my bike the next morning. I think some sort of locking sytem is just going to garranty your bike will be messed up even more from the hack saw s and bolt cutters.
+1 Haven't had a problem yet. Most people wouldn't know how to get them off.
