ive come across some hard times and i have to sell the ol girl. i have a 1990 electra glide ultra custom w/factory side car. both units are in mint shape(i think soo). motor was rebuilt, lots of upgrades, nothing custom. she looks stock except i removed the travel box and installed a solo seat. what is the bike worth or where can i find out?
signed, sad day.
Kelly Blue Book puts it at about $10K and change. Your price may vary. Check and see if there is anything similar on Craigslist or eBay for comparison. Cut and paste the below link.
Sorry you have to sell the bike. Think I would become a gigolo before I would get rid of my bike as I am in bad shape financially myself. Then again, don't think I would earn a great living as a gigolo.....
Now is not the time to sell unless you want to give it away.Things are tough everywhere, better times are right around the corner!
+1
Winter is the best time to BUY a bike, as prices usually drop.... and there are dozens of garage queens, getting dumped, so prices for used bikes seem to be at an all time low (value-wise)
I know it's tough out there....but if you can hold on til warmer days.... you'll get a better price
Ebay, Cycletrader, and Craigslist, are good places to check out your local market.
what fasthoss said is true. i just bought a 90 ultra, loaded, supre clean with only 40,000 miles and only gave 5,000.00 for it. hears a pic(or atleast i think i attached it). man try to hang on atleast til spring. good luck
