[QUOTEI bought a Bagger Brace ( http://bitchinbaggers.com/products/bagger-brace/ ) and was very impressed with the design, fit and finish of the components. I've sold three more of them to guys here (no, I'm not a dealer, I just really like the product and the results) and installed two of the three - all have been surprised by the improvement in their bikes handling. The BB spreads the force over a large surface area, and is very robust. It's easy to install, and has excellent instructions - and with it's design, it's impossible to mis-assemble it unless you drill and tap new holes....
There are cheaper braces, there are more expensive ones - I haven't found one made as well at any price. I'd buy another Bagger Brace if I had it to do over again.][/QUOTE]
Fit and finish is second to none. I would buy again if I had it to do over again.

For what its worth, I called Bitchen Baggers today and they will have braces for 09 & 10's ready to ship in 3 to 4 weaks. I'm definitely getting one for my RG.
I put the Progressive Link on my 99 bagger and it improved the ride greatly but added a little bit of vibration to the floorboards. It's common for all the braces to add at least a little vibration. I was going to put these "Stiffey's" on but then I got some Ohlins shocks and because the shocks don't have all the rubber in the ends like the stock shock it firmed up the back end and got rid of the vibration. I could have saved the money on the brace if I had known then what I know now.
Thanks for the opinions guys, sound like I need to get one. I will check on Progressive and Bitchin Baggers and go from there. My wife said I could buy something for my scoot since I just spent the last 3 months remodeling her bathroom. Something doesn't seem quite right though, I spent 7K on her new crapper and I get to spend $300 for the bike?
I have also put it on. I had the bike for one season, and since it was my first full-size touring bike, I just figured they naturally handled like a fat chick walking on the deck of a ship. I put the Bagger Brace on before I went to the Dragon, and on my test drive in my street I damn near dumped the bike because all of a suddent it handled better. Much more so.
I'm sure you'll find differing opinions here on the subject - there are extensive technical threads on this device throughout this forum. I found that on my bike, it made a difference, or it certainly feels like it made a difference.
Phoenix Customs sold me mine, and their customer service was also exemplary. I was very pleased. +1 Bagger Brace.
