Have a steering damper on my Norton Commando. Also on my TL1000, which didn't help a bit. The TL was & is the worst handle bike ever massed produced. I had more than one tank slapper on that puppy but Lord was it fast for a twin. Great, Great engine. Damper on Norton is an Olins and probably overkill. On my 2006 Street Bob I have installed the True Track which seems to work pretty good. I have never felt the need for a damper on it. Did add a fork brace. Spent a lot of money making the bike handle & stop better for a 600 pound bike.
Would I be interested in a really good one that didn't look like it came off a sport bike...Maybe. Cheap ones leak oil or do nothing. Must be very adjustable and Black.

The TL1000 is a serious widow maker,literally..You are right about it being one of the worst handling bike.I lost a friend in 1998 for that one reason, sadly I saw it happen.I wouldn't ride it too hard if I were you.

That's a great upgrade for the front end! I'm working on mine as I write - with a twist, if you haven't seen it.
