Default Workin on the Apes

I took a day of VACA today to work on the bike.
I'm install the 12" ape kit I got from Hill Country Customs, I has gone pretty smooth today, everything from them fits perfect so far, the wiring is all color coded properly so it was very easy to solder on my plugs, the brake lines, and throttle cables where the right lengths.
I also upgraded the brake calipers to a set of silver units with all new chrome hardware and brake pads thanks to EBAY.
Tomorrow is the clutch cable and reinstall the exhaust which I had ceramic coated to hopefully help with the heat on my R leg.
So far I am really liking the looks and they feel good also!!

I've heard good things about the Hill Country kits. Not cheap, but worth it.

Well I got it done today, everything went pretty well. The only problem I had was a loose bushing in the brake handle which I had to shim a little to get it to work properly.
I also had a problem with bleeding the brakes, I bleed them for 45 minutes and was getting no air anymore but they still don't feel right to me (low handle), I'm going to take it into my local Indy and have them rebled.
The entire job took me about 9 hours to do, I'm sure a lot of people could do it faster but I'm real picky about making things fit and work as well as possible.
