I installed the 18" apes from Hill Country Customs. Having some problems getting the front brake to work again and haven't figured out how to adjust/get the throttle/idler cable to work right but when I do I'll take it on a ride.
Nice I see you went with the 18" Narrows, I have the same set on the way for my Bob, take some more pictures if you can, those things look soooo good.
I am sure you know this, but just thought I would throw it in there, you will have to bleed the front brake, which is not the easiest on your own, keep adding fluid at the top squeeze not letting the resevoir go dry letting out the air and some fluid at the bottom, do this until you don't have any air coming out the bottom, then you should be good to go. Sorry can't help you on the throttle although I will have to figure it out when mine show up.
The throttle cable adjustment is fairly easy, I had my breather off so I could see the butterfly. I adjusted the back cable on the throttle body first which would be the front cable on the bars. Tighten it up until it starts to open the butterfly then back it off until the butterfly is fully closed. Then adjust the slack out of the other cable making sure it is seated down against that little spring in the throttle body. Hope that helps, that is how I did mine. And it does help alot to have 2 people to bleed the front brake.
+1 on the brakes being easier to bleed with another set of hands. You might just need to adjust the throttle idle cable. It to some playing with for me to get the slack out. Good luck.

You need to have five post in five different threads, then you will be able to see the pics.
OP, those bars a great looking!!! Post some pics of you on the bike and let us know how tall you are, so we can get a real prospective of how tall they are in relation to rider.
