If you are looking for some really sweet tie down straps with the built in soft tie check out the Big Daddy powertyes at

http://www.powertye.com

The site looks like its down for upgrades. These are some really sweet straps. Made a 2k trip and never had to adjust them. Built in soft tie is thick so it will not scratch anything. Pricey and overkill for the harbor freight people but i like getting the best.

Just purchased my first condor pit stop a few weeks ago and that little bit of sticker shock goes away the moment you open the box. I also got the trailer kit and will be installing it when it gets up above freezing up here!

I am thinking of installing two rows of E-channel along the inside of my cargo trailer to use for ratchet points. Any else have a similar set up like this or is there another easier system i am not considering?

Cheers!

Only thing wrong with the HF model is the China stamp on the bottom.Sometimes they are $60 on sale.I run a ratchet hooked to the eye bolt around the floorboard and back to the eye bolt for very secure binding while trailering.

+1 on the e-track. I have 3 strips running down the length of my 8.5' wide enclosed trailer. Left, middle, and right. The e-track is awesome stuff, extremely happy with it. Condor makes two types of e-track adapters for the pit stop (horizontal e-track and vertical). I think I am going to get those as well so I can position the condors anywhere I want.

I picked up the Condor (trailer only) chock for $167.00 w/free shipping here:
http://directlineparts.com/product.asp?pid=5626&str=12

The dual use Condor chock is $225.00 w/free shipping here:

I've ordered a many parts here for my VTX and they very good to deal with.

Also, the Powertye straps can't be beat.

I have the harbor freight one. Primarily to hold my bike close to the wall for the winter months. While not built as nice as the Condor, for $40 I paid, it was worth it. I will have to add some rubber to it to help hold it while pulling the bike out. Likes to slide on the concrete floor. Condor, has the rubber molded onto the ends that contact the floor.

My mechanic has the Condor, so I can make the comparison.

I know a few people that have the E-Track and they are very happy with it. I have a small cargo trailer so i did not need multiple tie down spots. I ordered 6-6K lb d-rings with backing plates from Mackie Enterprises. 2 in the front 2 in the middle and 2 in the back of my trailer was perfect to secure my 08UC. If i had a multi bike trailer i would go with the E-Track.
