Default PC -3 question

I have a 2005 RK stock motor... and a SE air filter and "Road Burner" drag pro's, true duals.
I bought a PC3 from Fuel Moto last year with a map installed, does the fact that the bike had previously had the "factory download" (had a k&n fiter and V&H slipons when I bought it used) make a difference in what the new map should be?
the reason I'm asking is because my milage is under 40 mpg (mostly highway) and it seems a bit sluggish when cruising at 60-70 and hitting the throttle on the highway. Actually the bike seemed to run stronger before I changed the exhaust and added the PC3
thanks in advance for any advice or info.

Yes. There are base maps that are for the stage 1 download. Check the map and it will stage 1 ECM. Sometimes adding a map that is not dynoed for your bike can adversely affect your mileage.

Why not call Fuel Moto and talk it over with them.
