Thinking about putting nostalgic saddlebag guards on my 2010 Road King FLHR. Have seen them on FLHRC's and Softail Deluxe, but have never seen them on an FLHR (except in h-d on-line catalog, but it only shows a bag view).
Does anyone have these (P/N 91286-10) on and FLHR?? If so, can you show pic's of whole bike - I'm trying figure out whether or not they will have the look that I want.
It's one of those things where you think you want something because it looked good in an ad, but when you see it for real ..................
I like bag guards.
My garage has tight parking and without guards I've brushed against my bags and scratched the paint.
Also if you ever bust your pins on a ride your bag won't instantly go bouncing down the hwy.
I would go for it! They would look nice on a FHLR. I have the full wrap around (not sure the name) like on a Ultra and they've saved my bags a few times backing into my old garage that was on the tight side. Smart investment and easy to change over.
