07 Should have the 6th gear light, it can be very faint when the sun is hitting it..

Having an 07 and getting some 08 Gauges by mistake I learned the hard Way...08 Changed the Fuel Gauge, they won't work correctly on the 07 and earlier properly....on the 08 and later tachs, if you try to use it, it works, however the ABS light stays on all the time. The 08 Speedo, the lowfuel light will come on when the tank is full and goes out after you burn some off...This must be due to the change in the Fuel Quantity system...so you will need gauges most likely from an 07 or before bike.....You can use the Voltmeter and air temp gauges from a newer one, don't think those have changed.
Hope this helps, I think it is one of the best and most worthwhile upgrades you can do, besides the painted inner fairing :-)

Did you keep the '08 gauges then , or not ??
My local dealer service guy, said that I 'shouldn't' have any problems. That means he doesn't know for sure !!
If it's just the few lights being on/off, I really don't care. Just as long as everything is still functions correctly.
If anyone is still running '09 or '10 gauges in a pre '07 , let me know how it went. THANKS !!

Looking to replace the gauges on my '06 Ultra with either white, or brushed aluminum, kinda like the white better.
Are they only compatible until 2006 ?? Did the fuel gauge change in '07 ??
What all gauges are compatible through what years ?? Thanks !!
PS. Anyone have any inexpensive white "take offs" ?? Maybe someone upgraded their Streetglide gauges.

Just remember you will need an older fuel gauge or it will show full all the time even when the tank is empty. I didn't like having the lights on so I got the correct ones.
The speedo portion and tach portion worked fine...

I sent my 03 gauges to a company called "Nu Image" in California, they have an add in the back of most magazines. It cost $225, they were back to me in less than a week (including shipping both ways). The quality is first rate, they have many different colors/designs and will do custom, all of the idiot lights are cut out as they were originally.

Thanks gabulldog !!!! That is probably gonna be my best bet. Look better, and cheaper, with no discrepancies in year, and no odometer recalibration !!!
