I don't ever bid on anything till the last 30 seconds. I fugure if you bid any earlier you doing nothing but run the price up. If I really want the item I bid the max I want to pay for it, but It's usually way under that when I win.

Yep, I do my own "Sniping" I have gotten up at 2am to bid on something that ended at that time. LOL
It works for me. If it ends when I can't bid, well then I guess it aint meant to be! LOL
