It really easy, take off the 16" one remove the front fender and redrill the rear hole with a 3/8 drill bit so you can tilt it up a little, place your spacers in a row for the right side and the left side the same way you took off the rim.
Then replace them the same way, then tape a 3/8 nut to the top of your new rim and tire and spin it to make sure it dosen't rub. lift the rear of the fender and then retighten the fender and torque the rim and tire down to specs.
1. have manual out and read a couple times before you turn any nuts and bolts
2. have your tools laid out
3.torque wrench a must.
4. have a floor jack handy to hold wheel up to slide axle out and reinstall axle.this is a must !
5.Be mindful of spacers and which side they go on.
6. caliper bolts are metric- i think 10mm ??
7. Dont forget never seize on axle.
8.make sure that wheel gets a couple rotations otherwise your gonna have to shim calipers.
Put bike on jack. Remove caliper mounting bolts. Remove calipers (do not squeeze brake lever while calipers are off) Loosen axle and pinch bolts. Jack bike up for clearance to remove wheel. Remove nuts. Remove axle. Slide wheel out. Reverse it for installation.
thanks for all the tips guys. it was pretty much what i expected. went on no problem. its raining out here in socal right now so i will post some pics when i can get it out of the garage and out in the sun.
