I have an FLHT. I am only 5'9" tall and to flat foot while on the bike I lowered it 1 1/2" in the rear. perfect height for me plus it looked killer. Well I just put a 21 in the front and an 18 in the rear and I am even taller than stock with the lowering kit still intalled. I am tip toeing big time. Has anyone lowered the front? any suggestions the best way to do it? has anyone gone 2 1/2 in the rear? I am concidering the low profile shocks with the 1 1/2 kit. Let me know what you think the best combo is? And hi everyone I am new to the site.

If you're comfortable with your answers, read on...
You can lower the front 1" with kits from HD or Progressive. Do not lower the front of a bagger more than 1" (trailer queens exepted) The Progressive kit I got allows a 2" front end drop, I tried this on my fat-tire bike and the handling dynamics of the bike were unmanageable (not to mention a ding in the fender).
