Default Wind Splitter Windshield

Has anyone tried the new wind Splitter windshield made by Harley for the street Glide?

I saw one on a 2010 Street Glide the other day at dealer. I didn't like it at all.

Didn't look like any of the other flares like KW or LRS

I just put one on my 09 Steet Glide. I think it looks great. Matches the shape of the fairing much better than the original. As far as the wind protection, it's somewhat better. Nothing dramatic.

If you're looking for something that looks good and does a nice job blocking the wind I'd suggest a Klock Werks Flare. We've got one on our Road Glide and love it...

It looks just like the "National Cycle V-Stream" windshield to me.
............and I didn't like it. But then that's may just be me.

Bit the bullet and went and picked one up. Looks good to me. Wish it was a shade darker. Rode with it for a bit and it seems to cut down on buffeting for me.

I am 6'00" and it seems to deflect the wind up and over my head.

Here is a video of it installed.
