New SG :)
Well after my wife teasing me for 6months about my Yam, I traded in last night for a 2010 SG
WoW what a ride. Riding home it was so smooth and I love the batwing with the instruments.
Only added a couple of items, siren/pager and Reach seat. I went back and forth on the seat but at 29inseam I need something to lower me. I only road about 30miles home but the seat was really comfortable. I could feel when I gave some throttle that I sinked into the seat little but it was still very comfortable. I need careful of the heel/toe shifter. The toe location on my Yam was farther out and I keep kicking air as the SG is right next to my foot. Also when stopped at light, my fillings in my teeth are starting to come out
I figure the idle shake will go down little once I brake it in and goto Syn oil.
Here are a couple of pic's the wife took. I feel like I am sitting like in a chair on the bike, not sure if that means I am too cramped. However since I can foot plant with the reach I do not think it will be a problem. Riding home was very comfortable. I will test it out on longer rides once break in is done. I might get some highway pegs to stretch my legs.

Awesome bike! The vibrations will settle down a bit, but remember if it doesnt shake and its an HD then something must be wrong. LOL. I see you are wearing a full face helmet a good safe choice. If you will be wearing an open face you are going to want to look into other windshield options.
Welcome and ride safe~!

I'm trying to picture the replies you would get on a post, on this forum, that read : HOW LONG WOULD YOUR WIFE HAVE TO TEASE YOU, for you to trade in your yamaha for a 2010 Street Glide. Most would reply : Between 30 and 60 sec. 6 months ?? nicebikewelcometotheforum. Jim.
