Default Dyna-bead balancing...anyone using it???

Im getting a 21" Performance Machine wheel and dont want a big ugly chunk of lead on my shinny new wheel. Anyone using dyna-beads to balance tire and if so do you like it??? What tire would you recommend for a 21" wheel?? The only manufacturer that im hearing is Metzeler and Avon what is your preference and why???

Thanks,
Steve

I been running the Dyna-Beads for a year now and have not had a problem with them in my ME880's.

I installed them this winter with new E3's. I have about 900 miles on them now and they ride smooth with no vibration at all

I used them in both my bikes, and all my cars & trucks. I have been using them for 7 years now. Great product.

When I 1st bought my 2009 Street Glide I had a wobble at about 85 MPH and up. I removed the wheel weights and installed the Dyna Beads - wobble gone! I did nothing else and this was with the D407 tire that they put a service bulletin out on, tire still hummed when leaning, but had no more wobble & didn't get cupping. Finally had it replaced for free under the service bulletin at 9000 miles, due to the humming getting louder.

Yep. Dyna Beads work. I'm running them in my bagger.

Depending on what size 21 you're looking for - the Dunlop E3's are an excellent tire. Many folks think they are better than the Metzeler's. I think they are about even but I only rode on the Metzeler's for a few miles.

Just ordered an applicator kit and a whole mess of beads for my new Me880s. Several riders around here swear by them....and for the price, if they don't work, you're not out that much money

They take some patience to get in the tire through the stem but I read about someone using an engraver up against the stem to create some vibration and they go right in then. No engraver? Find your wife's/girlfriend's vibrator.
