streetglide shocks will lower it an inch in the rear, but you'll be sacrificing ride. wishing i could find someone nearby who has an ultra or classic, etc, who wanted to swap out their shocks for my streetglide shocks. these oklahoma roads suck, and they suck more when the suspension is shortened like my streetglide is.
whats the cheapest shock to get? street glide? do i stay away from 08 and newer? i have the cheap lowering block and want to get rid of it
I have a set of 12" shocks 158 lbs/in - They are an inexpensive set $150 but I used them for testing. If you pay the shipping from CA to your place you can try them. If you want to keep them just pay me $70 - if you don't like them, just send them back.
Note... most lowering shocks are 176 lbs/in and are pretty stiff. With the 158 lb/in they are still not as soft as the stock 13" but not too bad.
I went with the lowering blocks and stock bagger shock.
Found this web site and asked about it here on the forum. A few guys said they went through them and are very happy. Couldn't hurt to take a look. I'm going to be ordering a few things from them on the next payday.
i forget how much the lowering blocks, lower the bike. i would like to b at the same height if not lower. does anyone have these shocks from bitchin baggers?
