My bike gets stolen everytime I park in a big parking lot. Then I remember where I parked it. That, or somebody is moving it.

You can fix your saddle bag problem really cheap. Go to ACE hardware and ask for 5/16 U-nuts and 5/16 stainless round head allen bolts 1 1/4 inch long. use your fender washer off your twist lok oem bolt and bolt them on. Mine uses the same 3/16 allen wrench I carry for my Rider backrest. I feel a lot better with this setup. I had one of my twist lok pins spread on me trying lok it. I went to the Dealer and they wanted 9.00 for a replacement. That's when I said no way and went with this setup.

Never had a problem, overnight lock it, set the alarm, and sleep easy. I always try to park close, but that is just my cautious nature.

Generally I find people look at the bike but they just don't touch.

No problem with the in-dash electronics. I bought a Zumo GPS and have it mounted to the panel. I do take that off everytime and lock it in the trunk. It comes off with a quick flip of the latch. The Ultra comes with a security system so I would expect it to go off should someone try to crack open the fairing to take the rest of the electronics.
