Default anniversary silver

cheap match to the 100th anniversary silver, my bags looked like crap, I went to oreilly auto parts with my bike , and found a very close match, it is mostly metallic that comes out of the can, and I bought 2 quarts of clear, the silver is a dupli color bright silver, I painted a blend on the side of my tour pak, and painted both bags, I think the pics will tell the tale. The second pic is deceiving because of the angle.

I know this is an old post but was curious is you had the actual color of the duplicolor or code you used off the can? I need to tocuh up my bags as well and if it is a good match would like to go this route.

It is not so good for touch ups, unless you shoot it with an air brush, I don't have the paint code, all I know is it is the duplicolor bright silver, look for a spray can with that name , and get the code from it.

I'm going thru the same process with my 03 RK on the front fender, I'm having a local auto paint supplier make me some up, with technology these days, the can match almost perfect to original. He's spraying for me also, so not sure about the air brush thing. Depends on your scale of needs I guess. Original fender for me is hard to find now.

I shouldnt have said touch up. I need to spray my lids and bags as the clear has peeled a bit. I didn't realize the actual color was bright silver......I thought you where saying bright silver in general. I will see what I can find. Looks like a great mat h from your pictures.

Thats great! Can you tell a difference when standing next to it looking at the bags (repainted) and the tank (stock paint)?
