Default screamin eagle slipons

I put a set of Screamin Eagle slipon mufflers on my 08 ultra, now I get a slight vibration in the floor boards. is this normal?

I had stock mufflers on the bike before and did not have the vibration.

Any ideas...

If you don't have the pipes on straight, and they can't slide back and forth in the rear rubber mounts under the saddle bags, they will cause vibrations. Hope this helps JONNIEROCK

If the exhaust system comes in contact with the frame at any point, it will transfer vibration. It doesn't take much contact.

Ric, one of my rules for trouble-shooting problems is : if you didn't have a problem before you changed something, then the problem is almost always associated with the change you made. Double check everything, there is something loose or as was said above, when engine vibrates, some where on your new slip-ons, they are touching something. You will see it, it just might take a while.

I completly removed the exhaust system and re-installed it, paying close attention to be certian that nothing hit the frame and the mufflers were installed straight. I still get a vibration in the floor boards and the highway pegs.

No vibration in the seat

Any thoughts?

Re-install the stockers one at a time and see if you can narrow it down.
