Default Audio upgrade

Have 2003 Ultra. Plan on simple upgrade to sound system. Just want 4 speakers and an amp. Any advice on brands or packages. I have seen different brands discussed on this site. So Im just looking for whats the best new set-up. Trying to decide on Hogtunes, or Hawgwired.

Hogtunes has recently introduced a 4-channel 160W (4x40W) amp and four speakers for the Ultra. I don't have this, but others have and like it.

This is a highly subjective question. Best advice is to do a search of the forums. There are hours and hours of opinions.. advice... and testimony on who makes the best amp and/or speakers...

Enjoy

Good luck, these amp and speaker threads are getting as common as favorite oil threads... lots of opinions.

i have done it for my '04 ultra. I use Hawgwired setup which look better and is a snap to mount. For the speakers, i choose Focal ones which sound good. I don't know now if i'll upgrade for an amp because it sound very good with the Sony unit, i'll let that for possible winter mods
