i have a 2010 street after i ride for a while motor good & hot primary sounds loud almost like whining is this a normal sound or should i visit my dealer

 

It's a bit hard to tell from your description if this is normal or not. Rest assured that these things are noisier than many expect, but they keep on trucking. What oil are you using?

 

How many miles on it? It sounds like the primary chain is a little tight. If they are tight, they'll whine when they get hot. It used to be a problem, but with the newer automatic adjusters, not so much anymore. If it's so loud as to be annoying, take it in, otherwise it will probably ease up after a while. I would at least mention it, the next time it's in for service.
