After seeing the previous post regarding the LED TAIL LIGHT/BRAKE assembly, I went
ahead and ordered the BAL-3ST. I have a 2008 Electra Glide and the install took only 10 minutes maximum. I have all the fancy cameras but pictures don't give the unit justice.
This tail light/brake assembly is bright......If you look directly at them, you will see spots....Darn near blinding........
The unit is easy to program with the supplied magnet.

Happened to be in a shop in another town last weekend. They had a BAL product display. Asked for a demo....holy crap Batman......I had to put my sunglasses on..still saw spots for a few minutes afterwards... it was one bright **** light. I will have one this fall. I am not sure which one it was but you can change the display or brightness. I am so looking forward to that one.
What is the difference between the BAL 1 and 3?
Is it the brightness or different effects?
Pete
The difference is in the style, the BAL 3 is a lay down style which looks great on my buddy's Fat Boy. The BAL 1 is styled like the stock light on my RK, it looks like stock until I light it up! I love it and do notice a reaction from people behind me when I apply my brakes.
