Took the heel shifter off mine last week and don't miss it at all. Makes it easier to fit my size 11 on the board now. Now I gotta find a nice chrome cap to cover the fugly bit of shifter splines hanging out in the wind.

I wear 13's, actually getting more used to using the heel shifter as I get used to being a bagger rider and don't think I could take mine off.

Used my heel shifter all the time, but just took it off. I ordered a "Novello" spacer from JPcycles. It allows you to move toe shifter out where heel shifter used to be. Anybody thats a machinist would be able to whip these off on a lathe tho no problem.
