Default Will not Start
Changing out turn signal run stop switch and now the bike is dead. Turn switch on no odometer reading, hit on/off switch can hear relay kick in, hit starter switch nothing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Check your fuses first.

Forgot to write I did all fuses and all were good, except can't check relays.

Default Let me try again
Changing out turn signal stop light module under seat and now bike will not start. Fuses ok, however I noticed left turn signal not on with lights, only on with turn signal.

Default I had similar problem
I am no mechanic, but I would recheck the fuses again before going down a road to misery in hours and money. My bike started blowing fuses and abruptly for no obvious reason and after several times it just quit. Same thing every time, no odometer or turn signals but would run fine otherwise. Fortunately it stopped doing that. Good luck.

Default Cured maybe
Check eacj fuse and they looked good, replaced each one at a time amd the one marked battery was bad even though it looked good,

why did you have to change out the tsm? (turn signal module) is it really a tsm or a tssm (turn signal security module) and did you replace it with the right part number ? The tsm/tssm also contains the switch that shuts the bike off if it leans over to far .

Try this. Type in this web address...(http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...yingnewTSM.jpg) without parenthesis! follow these instructions. if your security and engine light dont come on, dont worry, just watch the clock on your dash and allow 10 min between steps like the procedure says. The last step tells you to clear diagnostic trouble codes, but dont tell you how. I accomplished this by pressing the left turn signal, letting it flash only once and turn it off. repeat two more times, then do the same with the right turn signal. After that, press both left and right at the same time turning on the hazzards, then back off. Dont know for sure what cleared the codes but it worked for my baby and Im smilin like a mule eatin briars!

By the way, when you replace the TSM, it has to be programmed before the bike will start without stalling

while doing this procedure, its a good idea to go ahead and hook a battery charger up because youll have a dead battery otherwise. good luck
