Hi - was hoping to get feedback from everyone on what a good price would be for a new 2005 Road King classic. I would think that some dealers are selling for MSRP + freight without tacking on a bunch of excessive "dealer prep" etc etc. Thanks in advance!

 

Mine was about 18,500 out the door.

 

Got mine for 17,500 however I have 3 shops around me so they compete. I have a good friend whos brother has a HD shop in Tulsa OK. & he could not give me a deal because there are only like 3 shops in the whole state.

 

Where are you guys located? Dealership names? Please.

I got mine for MSRP with a total of $1300 off prep and accessories. I bought in the late winter. If you are interested, I can refer you to the dealer in south central NY state and see what they can do for you.

16k out-the-door for an 05 RKC????????? You better have your local cops run the vin and see if its stolen. I have the same bike, MSRP was just shy of $18,000, and I don't know any dealer that will pay the sales tax for you. How bout passing along the name of your dealer, so I know where to buy my next one.
