I would really appreciate any insight on this pricing and thoughts. My local dealer has a brand new 2013 Road King Classic. The MSRP is $21,094 and he is offering to sell it for $17,700 plus tax and title. That's almost $3500 under MSRP, however the 2014's are out and I know they went to liquid cooling. I think I'm doing okay on the price, but didn't know if there's something I'm missing. I may pull the trigger tomorrow and buy this bike before someone else does. Is this a great deal? Thanks
their is no '14 classic if that matters to you, price sounds good, is he still adding freight and prep? my decision was based on color, I paid about $4500 more for a year newer in orange . knowing what I know now, I would wait for a road glide to come back or a V-Glide.

That is a an awesome deal, and there are no water cooled RK's anyway. Go with it!

Thanks everyone for the replies. I am going to go to the dealership first thing in the morning and take the plunge. I had a 2012 Street Glide, converted back to a 2013 Fatboy, but still not content. I'm hoping the Road King will be a happy medium between the two. I know the ride is better and I can buy the wife shield mount audio system for the music I miss. Can anyone comment on V&H Monster Round Pipes as far as sound goes? I don't want to do a complete exhaust right now, but definitely want a Harley sound. I've read conflicting posts on this. @Bigfish - there is no dealer freight or setup fees. The only other fee is $100 document fee that I believe most dealers are charging now. My total cost out the door is $18,990.50.
being my first HD I was greatly disappointed in the sound and still am, maybe cams will do it. My wife was very unimpressed also, I could still see the house in the mirror when she said she missed the sound and rush of the Valkyrie. We do get more clothes and a more comfortable ride.(we should,4x the $)
