Default Silly azz question.

OK I have been an A.S.E. certified auto technician for over 20 years but where in the heck is the oil drains on a 2006 SG? Also about how many quarts does it take? I just bought my SG so any ins and out on the oil change would be appreciated.

Dude by the Repair and parts books they will answer all your questions. The plug is on the bottom. There is one for the engine and one for the tranny.

I can never remember which plug is which one......one faces the front, one faces down. Obviously, one is oil, one is tranny fluid.

I change both every time.

LMAO!!!!! See I told you guys and now here is my proof thanks to the OP.

A technician is generally someone in a technological field who has a relatively practical understanding of the general theoretical principles of that field.

Many mechanics are specialized in a particular field such as auto mechanics, bicycle mechanics, motorcycle mechanics.

When in doubt looking for a drain plug....think GRAVITY. Liquids without pressure will flow D O W N.

No drain plugs ... fold the kickstand up ... turn it on the handlebars like you did your bike when you was a kid. The oil drains right out.
