I see your point to a certain extent. But the fact is, even though all of us who enjoy this forum think of it as a "free" forum. It really isn't. The forum sponsors are of course trying to use this forum to increase their sales, but they are also paying the bills to keep this forum up and running.

It is hard for any person of true integrity to let money be a factor in any decision they make. However, it is the way the world works sometimes. The administrators of this forum have an obligation to this forum, even if it conflicts with their personal ingerity.

I understand and support the logic here, even if I wish money was the last factor a person used when making a decision about anything.

And that would be why I take the recommendations here with basketball-sized grains of salt.....Especially when it comes to forum sponsors, as any negative feedback is immediately silenced.

I forgot to state year and chrome or black and they hit me up with an email question and it still arrived sooner then expected after I answered.

 

No, actually it wouldn't be the same. Eastern Performance does not pay the bills around here (although they used to be a sponsor and I've purchased from them a long time ago). The author of the locked (now pulled) thread meant no harm for starting the poll. I just can't allow a thread to stand that encourages members to say bad things about a forum sponsor. It was not my decision or the decision of a moderator to pull/lock the thread.

As stated by another member, this forum is privately owned and freedom of speech does not apply although we try to let a lot of things go if we can. If this is a problem for you it would be better to pm me about it.

I have bought thousands of dollars worth of parts from EP over the years. being one state away, if an item is in stock (and most are) and I call before 5pm, I get NEXT day delivery via UPS Ground! That is hard to beat and I have even paid a few bucks more than maybe I needed to to get my stuff in less than 24 hours! Brian, Jonathan, Susan and the other folks there are great to deal with. I even drove up there on one occasion to pick some stuff up and meet them and see their operation. Great bunch and excellent prices and service IMO!

 

Thanks for making my point for me. So if a forum sponsor screws someone, tough luck?

 

Bought several items from them, Their prices are usually the cheapest I can find. I will use them again and again.
