Default Help! Back pain

Just purchased an 07 Street Glide. I'm 5/9, 30 inch inseam. It has a Mustang Tripper Solo seat. Arnott air shocks. Rode it for 30 minutes and my back is killing me. Seems a bit stiff in the rear.
Not sure if its the seat, shocks or what. The factory seat sits a bit high for me.
Have a 2010 FXSTC with factory seat, no back problems.
Going to be looking for a new seat that drops me down a bit and has a nice passenger seat too.
Any ideas or recommendations on a seat or why the back is acting up on this bike??
I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks.
Paul

I'm 6'2" & 30" inseam @230 lbs. My "08 Heritage fits me just fine, I think. My problem is the jiffy stand. Too far to the front for my left leg. Fixed it by sliding a little up on the tank & reach it ok.

Its not the jiffy stand that is causing my back pain. Thank you though.

Any suggestions on seats?
As for bars, what do you think, they could be too far away?? I'm curious why you say bars. Did not think of that but thank you for the ideas.

sundowner seat drops you down a little, and is like a bucket seat with back support.

On my ultra (same bars as a street glide) the wrist position as well as being too far away killed my back in the shoulder blades. I put on the khromewerks +2 sweepers on both my 04 that I had and now the 08. It made a world of difference. I also run the Sundowner seat

back pain is your bars, butt pain is your seat, you probably need bars that have more pull back or are higher or both

2 words "back rest". I put them on both my bikes and what a difference supporting your back makes. Riding is so much more comfortible.
