Wondering if anyone has had this problem before; the mileage readout on my 08 FLHT has droped from 8750 to 6750. Took it to the dealership yesterday and they said there are no missing elements from the LCD display, unfortunately their main technical wiz is away at the moment and they couldn't help me any further.
Any suggestions?
You sure that the digital read-out hasn't just dropped a part of the number "8"?

Checked the other readouts and one had a "0" where the "8" should be, so all the outside bits are there, and the "6" that is currently there proves the centre one is ok.
Bought the bike used in February with just over 3000 miles on it, had the 5000 miles service done before I went to the Pyrenees, did 3000 miles in the week I was there, and a few hundred since I got back. Something is definately not right somewhere.
Makes me wonder how many true miles it had when I bought it.

Odd innit!
Regards, Roger.
That is what I would be concerned about since you bought it used, the actual miles.
