As people have said, you can change baffles. Big City Thunder comes to mind. Even the HD original style 1962 fishtails can have a baffle change.

I put quiet baffles in mine the other day, with the cams, it was killing my ears.

So if the outside diameter is 1 7/8, what size baffle do I need?
Thanks for all the help so far, guys!

Big City Thunder is a GREAT company. They were very helpful and very knowledgable. I bought my baffles while being deployed here in Afghanistan and the rep from the company walked me through the whole process. The rep was a woman by the way. I was very impressed. Id recomend them to anyone any time.

Depends on your pipes. Different manufacturers use different pipe wall thicknesses/gauges, which results in different pipe ID's. Either measure or give Samson or Big City a call, they'll hook you up. Without measuring most of us would be guessing, and would most likely lead you astray.

Good luck, you'll love them!

I ended up with V&H fishtails on mine, really like them, but they don't look as good as the Samsons.

I called Samson today & they only have one that will fit.
Part # A-120
They're 1 1/2" X 10".
I got the measurements for them & it looks like I won't have to drill any holes, just shove them in & they'll stay put - at least that's what the customer service person at Samson said.
I guess I'll shop around & see what other brands fit too.
I wanna make them sound awesome without pissin' everybody else off.

I have a question. I have option to buy say to be “Samson” fishtails but it is just seller word assuring me these are actually Samson’s how can I say if these are real. Is there stamp with logo somewhere or any other identifier that can assure me it is real deal? Knock offs are $150 so I don't want to pay $225 if these are not real. Any advice?

Mine have the logo under the trans where you check the fluid and and the clutch cable goes in, have him send a picture. It’s hard to see it is etched in. I know its not a road king but i have to believe they would have a logo on them

Here’s mine below. I’ll also give you a link of Fish tales with baffles that I bought. They sounded great. The sound was not offensive in the least. They just were too quiet for me. I wanted something a little meaner sounding. So I removed the baffles, and it became a very unpleasant raspy sound. Next day installed TTI’s and a messing with them to try and get a sound that I like. Truthfully, I’m probably gonna have to end up putting the baffles back in.

Appreciate it man. Seems the dude that sold me these pipes lied to me but Ipaid $200 so wont cry as these are just like new but for sure not Samson ones. My bike is not cholo by any means but I dig the look of new pipes and damn these are loud on acceleration. Bike is all stock not sure if my 2022 RKS need tune with these but I am happy for now.
