Riser help please !
Like a lot of guys the bars on my RK need attention. Looking at doing the riser fix. My risers are 1.7" and I'm looking at 4" with the turn back, that should be about right for now.
I know I will need the ape hanger face plate change. The parts I need input on is the hole that will show in the bar, and the riser and bar clamp combination. I'm pretty sure my clamps are 3.5 " center, and I'm going to need the one piece clamp. It would appear that there is some cheap stuff out there but I dont want junk.
Also since I am going to try and cover the hole in the bottom of the bar I was thinking a skirted clamp but I dont know if it will actually cover the hole.
And if I do use a skirted clamp will I have to buy the clamp and riser as a mated pair or will the skirted clamp fit any riser?
And last question, since I'm only gaining roughly 2.25" will the brake line be long enough?
