I was actually looking for wiring related issue and came across this item. For a lot of us this Forum and its' older posts are life savers as you can't find relevant information anymore, for older Bikes.

I'm not sure why people here think knowledge expires. Something else to get upset about, I suppose.

Who would have thought back when this thread was made that 2014's would come with 2 fans and radiators!

And just for the record... the Cool Flow fan for M8 touring works great. Also works with the mid-frame air deflectors for a finished look and even more control of air flow direction. Highly recommend.

i was gonna mention that as well. with the coolflow fan, i feel more heat on my left foot now than my right.

there is a version available for older bikes as well, though it doesn't have the automatic settings that the newer ones do. the 'kit' that i bought for my bike came with the dash switch, but not a midframe deflector. i got the part number from the other kit, and ordered that separate.

This is precisely what I mean. It speaks volumes to the value of a forum when threads almost 1.5 decades old are still searched and used. Most forums don’t last that long.
