Got another call today (Tuesday) from Tony, explainin' that a quality issue was noticed with some shocks that were in the recent orders/shipments. As a precaution, most of the orders got pulled before shipping and will be re-issued, with new shocks, hopefully in a few days. That sucks, but they are workin' hard to make it right and have also offered a further 10% discount for those inconvenienced. No doubt they are contacting/informing anyone affected, so those who are wonderin' and waitin', just be patient and we'll get slammed soon enough! I am still anxious to try the system and see how it performs!
Yep - I got the call from Tony this morning too and I gotta say, this is a class act to work with. They really got hit between the eyes and are still thinking about US first - man, that's just rare today and speaks volumes about the integrity of this company. It'll be a little later than I had hoped - but I'll be slammed soon enough and proud to tell everyone about Draggin Baggers.
got a call myself....anyone who'll stand up like Tony can keep the discount and i'll just be patient
issue is the bellows in the shocks dont like altitude, it has cause some shocks to leak down...Tony is replacing all orders that went out by air just to be sure...he took a hit money-wise on the first batch of orders but earned my respect with the call and his attitude...to me he was tryin to get the orders out ASAP, only to have a wrench chunked in the monkeyworks...i hope he gets 10 times more orders to make up for the cash lost
Tomorrow it will be a tornado hit and the next day it will be they are out because of the flu then BAM! They hightail it and you'll never hear from them again.....
500 plus miles and so far all is good, I can only say that Tony is a true stand-up guy and no doubt will recover from this mishap. Sorry to hear you all will have to wait a little for your system but no worries cause Tony isnât going anywhere, heâs here to stay. Give him the time he needs to work this out.
I too received a call from Tony today regarding the issue with the shock. I chose to hold my order because I believe in Tony and his company. It is rare to see a business owner put it's customer before the almighty dollar. I hope Tony and Draggin Baggers will soon be Draggin the competition!
