I have the HD nav on my 2006 Ultra.
Works okay, but I wish I had saved the money and bought an add on Nav.
Downsides are;
1. No maps - only direction lists.
2. CD required - if you change a route the system needs to read the CD (comes with 2, east and west)
I had it installed before I took delivery in Feb, but have been waiting on adding XM.
Now I'm glad I did, since I will likely buy the zumo 550 when it comes out so that I can have both XM and a better Nav system in one unit and that I will mount on my bike and be able to move to a car when traveling that way.
I bought the navigation module for my 07 Ultra and am very disappointed with it. It came with version 1.0 and it doesn't recognize the street I live on or my address. I have been living at this address for 12 years! I called NAVTEQ and they said that they update the tracking software every 6 months. They said whatever system we have in our bikes is the one who is not updating their CDs. I gave up trying to contact HARMAN/BECKER or HARMAN/KARDON. Of course, Harley HQ is useless, they know nothing and tell me that the version 1.0 is the latest and greatest. Boy do I feel like a sucka!!!

Thanks, you just saved me a ton of cash too. I think I will stick with my Garmin Street Pilot and purchase a bike mount for it.

See, this is exactly why I bought a Garmin Quest 2. It's portable, both bike and car, and very accurate, with the entire US maps. Plus, a GPS speedometer, which is much more accurate than the bike speedo. All for $500. The Motor Company execs sit in boardrooms and say "there's a sucker born every minute." lol
BTW...... have y'all seen the Goldwing GPS......WOW!
