Has anyone found anything commercially or home remedy for stinky helmet? Just returned from a long HOT trip and I went to get my helmet from the tour pac and it smelled like a locker room. PLEASE HELP?
Take a sock and put baking soda in it. Place the sock inside the helmet and place the helmet in a plastic shopping bag. Tie it off and let work (maybe).
Good Luck.
Wear a bandana or skull cap between you and your helmet and you won't have that problem.
Not wearing something to keep your head funk off your helmet liner is kinda gross. My opinion of course. It's like wearing the same pair of socks for a year.

I agree tho.....too many really thin bandanas and skull caps avaliable. OTOH, my helmet liners to come out for washing with mild soap ifn i needs it!!

Thanks for all the thoughts. My liner does not come out. Therefore the Frabreeze odor eliminator sounds good to me.
Wear one everywhere I go. Always make sure it is a good one. I even have a welders hat that is double cloth. I just sweat really heavy.
