I don't use Amsoil 10-40 but I do use Castrol GTX 10-40 dino. Using a synthetic is a pure waste of money. I change it out at the end of every season, about 10k miles. Any 10-40 will do the job.

I used the Amsoil 10-40 in the primary once. Then switched to Redline primary fluid and have been happy with the change.

I use Redline (in the Primary & Trans)- I switched from Amsoil a just few days ago. You never could have told me that there would be that big of a difference! I have been a die hard Amsoil fan for 20 years (from my drag racing days). In this application the Redline has WON hands down.

P.S. I have used the following in my primary - HD Formula +, Dino 20w50, Amsoil 20w50, Amsoil Super Shift Racing ATF. NONE perform as well as the Redline.

What part of the performance do you like better with the Redline?
