Wind Deflector Install
Here are the photos:
NOTE: Never mind the water hose on the engine guard, been practicing my extra-slow riding and don't like to take chances.

I have them on my bike and it all but stopped the updraft I was getting. Worth every penny.
I also have the Hd vented fairing lower on my bike which the catalog says they won't work with. properly adjusted the don't hit the lower fairing, there close but don't touch.
Well worth what i paid for them.
I ordered the front fork air baffle, chrome wind deflectors, and the adjustable air deflectors (#58166-08) for the fairing. I installed all 3 with ease. The only problem I discovered was the adjustable air deflectors would crash into the wind deflectors when I opened them. I decided to remove the wind deflectors until it gets cold. Did anybody else experience this, and if you did, were you able to correct it? I really don't want to start cutting or bending to make them all work together.
BTW, the fork baffle and adjustable wind deflectors did reduce wind going up into my 3/4 helmet face shield. Once I got caught in the rain, and the outside of the face shield was dry, but the rain was creeping up on the inside. I haven't been caught in the rain since then to test it.
Thanks and ride safe,
Bob.

I just bought a set of wind deflectors for my 09 EGC from another board member. This may be a silly question but does the angle on the top of the deflector go in toward the bike or away from the bike? I did down load a set of instructions but it’s not clear as to which is right and which is left.
thanks
